The Ford F150 first appeared on the scene back in 1975 and because the F100 was, still in production at this time it was often referred to as the "heavy half ton". Yet although this model has been around for over 30 years, it was not until 1999 that the Ford Harley Davidson F150 truck was created. Since it being first introduced the Ford Motor Company have now brought out several different models of this great looking vehicle. But everything that they have done on this model since it first appeared is that it resonates the heritage of the Harley Davidson Motorcycle Company. Below we take a look at the two latest versions of this truck, which are certainly going to be winners with both Ford and Harley Davidson enthusiasts alike. 1. Ford Harley Davidson F150 Supercab - This model was but into production in 2006 and is in the monotone black with lots of chrome accessories and trim. Also each model comes with the very distinctive Harley Davidson logo. But just as you would find on a custom motorcycle made by Harley Davidson externally each truck has a custom scalloped red stripe outlined in electric blue in order to provide a more authentic custom look to the vehicle. Plus along with the custom paint job at intervals on the vehicles belt line you will find that the Harley Davidson script has been placed. Along with the chrome billet grille and headlamps, which have been blacked out in, comes with 22 inch forged aluminum rims, which have been polished. This provides it with a somewhat menacing look. 2. 2007 Ford Harley Davidson F150 Supercrew Where as the 2006 Supercab only came in monotone black today you have the choice of either the monotone black or a dark amethyst finish to your truck. Again just like the Supercab it comes with 22 inch polished forged aluminum wheels and a chrome billet grille. Plus the standard blacked out headlights and taillights, which are standard on all Ford Harley Davidson trucks. But the difference in this truck is to be found under hits hood. As with this model you have the option of a supercharger which would normally be found on the Ford Shelby GT500 being fitted above the Harley Davidson engine. Which is able to provide 450 break horsepower. But as well as having all the refinements that the Ford Motor Company has to offer each of the cabs within the Ford Harley Davidson F150 range, provides the same kind of feeling you get from riding one of these renowned custom motorcycles. All the captains chairs in the vehicle are unique to the Ford Harley Davidson F150 and have the Harley Davidson bar and shield logo embedded into the leather used to cover them. Plus the use of chrome trimming inside the vehicle adds to its overall feel of being a custom-made vehicle rather than one that has come straight off a production line.
